ABOUT EZGI

Welcome!

I’m a leader, connector and lifelong explorer of identity and belonging.

I inspire people to grow.

MY STORY

For most of my life, I tried to understand: Who am I, really? And where do I truly belong?

Growing up between different cultures, nationalities and languages, I experienced early what it means to belong everywhere and nowhere at once. My life has always been in-between different worlds: cultures, environments, systems, ways of thinking and being.

I've learned to master the in-between. I speak rational and emotional, doing and being, structure and free flow, corporate and coaching, extrovert and introvert, deep and light. A lifetime of experience has strengthened my ability to navigate the extremes and everything in between.

For a long time, I felt that not fully belonging anywhere was the price I had to pay for this.

Until I realised:

I was never meant to fit in a box.
I was meant to connect them.

Over my lifetime, I've developed a skill that isn't taught in universities but learned through lived experience: the ability to fully understand different worlds from the inside, and to act as a bridge between them. That's who I am. A connector. A bridge.

Today, I bring this lifelong experience into my work with leaders and executives who are navigating their own questions of identity, belonging and who sense there is more of themselves to be lived. That territory I know from the inside.

If you've never quite fit in a box either, you're in the right place.

MY PATH

My path into coaching didn't begin with a coaching certification. It began much earlier.

I spent nearly 25 years in corporate finance and leadership, as a Finance Business Partner and trusted sparring partner to executives and senior leaders within complex organisations, responsible for teams and the financial steering of businesses with revenues in the billions.

I’ve learned what it means to lead through transformation, balance business performance with human realities, and make decisions that affect people, structures and strategy.

And I know the tension of having a successful career, financial stability and an expansive lifestyle, while feeling pulled to express your whole self — caught between comfort and fulfilment.

Ezgi Karaboya, former corporate finance leader and executive business partner.

Alongside my professional path, another journey was unfolding.

At 30, I left my job and travelled the world solo for a year as a backpacker. It became one of the most formative experiences of my life. It gave me the space to explore questions I had been carrying since childhood: Who am I? Where do I belong? What’s the meaning of life?

I returned to corporate life for another decade, but something had shifted. I wasn’t the same person anymore. Born and raised in Switzerland, I came to see myself as a global citizen.

Over the years that followed, travel remained one of the most important ways I continued to learn and grow.

Travelling has been the best personal development and the best investment in myself.

It taught me to stay curious, expand my comfort zone by facing discomfort and opened my mind to new cultures and different ways of seeing the world. It challenged me to question what I had considered “normal”, and allowed me to build true, deep and lasting relationships.

Ezgi Karaboya, leadership and executive coach shaped by international experiences and lifelong personal development.

Personal development became a continuous part of my life — through travel, self-study, communities, workshops and training.

During the pandemic years and beyond, digital connections with people, communities and leading voices from around the world gave me access to international research, knowledge and resources, opening an entirely new dimension of personal development for me.

It was also during this time that the idea of building a coaching practice emerged. As part of this exploration, I trained in Neurosensitivity and Neuromanagement, learning how neurodivergent individuals thrive and how to lead neurodiverse teams.

At 40, I decided to create a more fulfilling life and pursue a coaching practice I had been dreaming of for years. My Co-Active coaching training followed, giving me the professional framework to bring together what had been developing throughout my life.

Today, I bring both sides of that journey into my work: deep corporate experience and a lifelong commitment to learning, exploration and personal growth.

MY PHILOSOPHY

MY WHY

I inspire people to grow because I believe human intelligence goes beyond the intellect.
Consciousness is the next dimension to master.

MY VISION

I envision a world in which we live deeply connected to ourselves, each other and the universe we are part of.

MY VALUES

Authenticity

Living truthfully, with integrity and without compromising who we are.

Growth

Lifelong learning, development and the commitment to keep evolving.

Curiosity

An open mind and a genuine eagerness to explore without judgement.

Connection

Listening deeply and embracing vulnerability to truly see and understand each other.

Courage

Facing discomfort and the unknown without letting fear hold us back.

HOW I WORK

I work with who you are,
not just what you do.

Leadership is not only about what you achieve or how you perform. It is about who you are and how you want to lead and live.

I bring together two worlds I know from the inside: the language of business and the intelligence of the inner world — combining rational clarity with intuitive exploration, corporate experience with consciousness-driven depth.

Identity over tools

We look beyond skills, behaviours and quick-fix strategies & frameworks to the whole person behind the role. You don't just solve problems — you grow beyond them.

Intellect + inner connection

Analytical thinking and intuition are not mutually exclusive. We draw on the full range of your resources, not just your mind, unlocking your conscious leadership potential.

Grounded depth

My style blends structure, clarity and groundedness with empathy, introspection, and presence — exploring the deeper layers beneath the surface.

CREDENTIALS

My professional foundation combines nearly 25 years of experience in corporate finance, business partnering and leadership with rigorous professional coaching training and internationally recognised coaching certifications.
